St. John’s, Antigua (April 30th 2018) – The Antigua Barbuda Association of Small Business Owners (ABASBO) will be hosting LEAP! 2018: The SME Conference, a two day event scheduled to take place on May 23rd and 24th 2018 at Jolly Beach Resort & Spa. This is the 3rd year hosting this Conference, which is quickly becoming the premier entrepreneurship and SME conference within the region. The theme for this year’s conference is Disrupt. Innovate. Grow. LEAP! 2018 will attract Business Owners, Corporate Leaders, Entrepreneurs, SMEs, aspiring Entrepreneurs and Women Leaders.
Day One of LEAP! 2018 will be the General Conference and is geared towards all aspiring business owners and entrepreneurs as well as existing micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSME’s). On Day 2 in the morning will be the “Blockchain & Cryptocurrency for Business & Investing” Post-Conference Workshop.This interactive workshop is a ½ day event where you’ll learn the fundamentals of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency investing opportunities to help you properly align and incorporate them into your business practice. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding and get a holistic perspective on the future of money, including available financial and technology options and security considerations as well as insights on how blockchain technology and cryptocurrency are changing governments and the legal aspect of money. In the afternoon on May 24th will be Women LEAP!, a half-day session designed for women in business and corporate leaders as we discuss “Investing & Wealth Building Opportunities for Women & Families”.
